Clonard Education is less about a large number of students and more about providing personal service and a high quality curriculum for the next generation of South Africans. The aim at Clonard Education is to provide the utmost in quality education in order to shape our children’s futures.
In 1996 home education was made legal in South Africa. Since then Clonard have helped thousands of parents to give their children a head start in life. Clonard Distance Education offers home schooling curricula throughout South Africa and abroad.
There are many reasons to choose homeschooling - perhaps a poor level of education in your local schools, lack of discipline, bullying, exposure to things that are not part of your family's moral code, financial reasons or perhaps simply proximity to a suitable school. Another reason that parents may choose to homeschool their children is due to religion. We believe that religion is a personal matter, so there is no religious content in the Clonard curriculum.
Whatever the reason, Clonard provides everything that you will need in order to homeschool your children. We provide the full curriculum for Grade R to IGCSE (grade 11 equivalent) (incl. exams) as well as all the support that you will need throughout the year. We are currently working on As and A levels (Cambridge grade 12 and post-matric equivalent). You do not need to be a qualified teacher to homeschool your child with Clonard. The curriculum is developed by qualified and experienced teachers, the best in the field. Your children can go back to school at any time using our formal report, although they might be well ahead of their class mates.
The books are interesting and the work is challenging. You will be delighted to see how quickly your child learns. The one-on-one teaching method lets your child move at their own pace - the best way to learn.
Watch your child's confidence blossom as they thrive on the attention.
Our children come from many different backgrounds and we aim to work together to give your child the solid foundation that they deserve.
Your children are our future.
